Dr. Robinett is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He earned a degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude in 2010. He then completed his medical education at the University of Texas School of Medicine San Antonio in 2014.
After relocating to Baltimore, he began a residency in internal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC), graduating in 2017. He remained at UMMC for rheumatology fellowship, graduating in 2019. After four years of working in private practice in the Baltimore area, he moved to Austin, Texas in 2023.
He has also received the Rheumatology’s Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification (RhMSUS) from the American College of Rheumatology. He enjoys spending time with wife, sons, and springer spaniel.
He was selected by his peers for the Texas Super Doctors® Rising Stars 2026 list published in Texas Monthly and was also recognized as a 2026 Top Doctor by Austin Monthly.
Megan Shiroma is a Physician Assistant (PA) and is a graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care. She began her career in family medicine at Rettig Family Health Care before transitioning to the field of rheumatology at Arthritis and Osteoporosis Clinic of Central Texas, where she has built over seven years of experience in managing chronic conditions and promoting long-term wellness.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys going on outdoor adventures with her boyfriend and exploring new recipes in the kitchen — especially when it comes to cooking (and tasting) delicious meals. She is passionate about making her patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their health journey.
Megan is fluent in English and Spanish.
